Brittany Crow Mediation Lawyer Portrait

Brittany is a Kelowna-based lawyer and family mediator who helps couples and families navigate separation with compassion, balance, and clarity. With a background in family law and family legal services, Brittany brings both legal insight and a deeply human approach to mediation. Always grounded in listening, fairness, and practical resolution.

Brittany earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Alberta and began her legal career in private practice before transitioning into family legal services. Working closely with individuals and families during emotionally charged moments gave her a clear understanding of how traditional, adversarial processes can intensify conflict, prolong stress, and increase financial strain — often without improving outcomes.

That experience shaped Brittany’s commitment to mediation as a healthier alternative to court-based separation. She believes that most families are not looking to “win”. They are looking to move forward, protect their wellbeing, and find stability during an uncertain time.

As a mediator, Brittany is known for her calm presence, thoughtful guidance, and genuine empathy. She creates a neutral, supportive environment where both parties feel heard and respected. Her approach focuses on reducing tension, encouraging productive communication, and helping people reach durable agreements that reflect their real lives, not just legal positions.

Through Equilibrium Mediation, Brittany supports couples in resolving separation issues efficiently and respectfully, often in weeks rather than years. Her goal is to minimize unnecessary conflict, stress, and expense, while helping families transition into the next chapter with dignity and confidence.

At the core of Brittany’s work is a simple belief:
resolution should be balanced, compassionate, and human.
